I had planned to save my 15 remaining rolls of black and white purely for this winter. I was going to absolve from all color- totally stripped to the bare essentials. But….I was going through my photographs from last winter. And I may not be able to help myself. The colors in these, the stark winter sky, the dead color of dried sunflowers, etc…I may have been a bit rash in ignoring all the amazing ways color comes out in winter!
So, if there is some color, I can’t say I didn’t warn you. I still love the idea of a monochromatic winter, but capturing the colors of this indoor season is also wonderful.
I love the similarities of these pictures, how they resemble one another. Can’t wait for your winter stuff – you’ve got a follower! 😉
These are great… really like the snow, bottles and books.
I just took my first look ever at your blog and I immediately loved it, which happens rarely! Great photos 🙂
