Today I developed my first ever roll of black and white film by myself. Although I’ve photographed for years using SLRs, and have a keen grasp on the concept of developing (the science, the method of using developer then fixer then a stop bath, etc.) I had never done it with 35mm film before!

Seeing my crisp little negatives come off the spool, with a few bad spots aside, I felt quite proud, even elated.
